WE BUY GRADED COLLECTIBLES

Sell Your Graded Collectibles

Graded collectibles are an area Chrono Collectibles is actively growing, and they are the easiest things on this site to sell to us. A slab carries a grade, a certification number and a public sales history, which means we can usually quote from a photo of the label without handling the item at all. Cards, video games, comics and toys — if it is in a holder, we want to see it.

What we're looking for

By grader

  • PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC and TAG — cards
  • WATA and VGA — sealed and loose video games
  • CGC, CBCS and PGX — comics and magazines
  • CGC and AFA — sealed toys and action figures
  • JSA, PSA/DNA and Beckett — autographs
  • Any legitimate third-party holder, any grade

What travels best

  • Graded Pokémon and other TCG cards
  • WATA and VGA graded games, sealed or complete
  • Graded vintage sports rookies and autographs
  • CGC-graded key issues and first appearances
  • AFA-graded vintage figures still on the card
  • Whole slab collections, with or without a list

We'll take these too

  • Low-grade slabs — a 3 on the right book still sells
  • Cracked or damaged holders, if the item is intact
  • Items you are deciding whether to grade — ask first
  • Mixed slab lots spanning several categories
  • Submission receipts and pending orders, case by case

What actually drives the price

The grade is a fact, not a promise

A grade tells us what condition a third party agreed the item was in. It does not make an item valuable — a 10 on a common card is still a common card. What grading does is remove the argument about condition, which is why slabs are quick for both of us to price.

The cert number does the work

Send clear photos of the label: grader, grade, and the certification number. From those we can look up the population and the recent sold prices for that exact grade, and quote without you packing anything. A list of cert numbers is even faster.

Population matters as much as the grade

Two 9s on the same card can be worth very different money depending on how many exist above them. We check the population report rather than reading a grade in isolation, and we will show you what we found.

Do not crack anything open

Breaking an item out of its holder destroys the grade and the public sales record along with it, and it cannot be undone. If you are thinking about cracking something, or about submitting something for grading before selling, ask us first — it is a free conversation and it has saved sellers real money.

How selling works

  1. Send photos and details. Use the form below, or text them to 727-351-2313. Shelf-level photos are fine to start — you do not need to itemise anything.
  2. We research and make an offer. We check recent sold prices, not guide values, and come back with a specific number and the reasoning behind it.
  3. You get paid. Accept and we arrange pickup or shipping, and pay on collection. No fees, no consignment wait.

We do local pickup around Temple Terrace, FL · Thurmont, MD · Frederick, MD, and we buy by mail from anywhere in the US. Not sure which makes sense? Ask — we will tell you.

Questions about selling graded collectibles

Do you buy graded cards, games and comics?

Yes, and they are what Chrono Collectibles most wants to buy. We buy PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC and TAG graded cards, WATA and VGA graded video games, CGC and CBCS graded comics, and AFA graded toys. Send photos of the labels — grader, grade and certification number — and we can usually quote without seeing the items in person.

Should I get my items graded before selling them?

Usually not. Grading costs money and takes months, and it only pays off on genuinely high-value items in excellent condition. Chrono Collectibles prices raw items on their grading potential anyway, so for most collections selling raw nets more than paying to grade first. If you have something where grading would clearly pay, we will tell you that instead.

Does a high grade mean my item is valuable?

Not on its own. A grade records condition; value comes from what the item is and how many others exist in that grade or better. A 10 on a card nobody collects is worth very little. Chrono Collectibles prices from recent completed sales for that exact item in that exact grade, and will show you the figures behind any offer.

What are you selling?

Item names, condition, and your asking price if you have one in mind. For graded items, include the grade and certification number — we can often quote from those alone.
