Chrono Collectibles is most interested in factory-sealed and boxed toys — action figures still on the card, vintage toys in their packaging, and graded or case-fresh collectible figures. Worthwhile loose vintage toys are welcome too, and we buy plenty of them. Toys are the category where packaging swings value hardest, and where a box someone nearly threw away often turns out to be most of the price.

What actually drives the price
The box is often the value
For vintage toys, a mint figure in a crushed box can be worth a fraction of the same figure in a clean one. If you still have original packaging — even flattened in the attic — do not discard it before we look.
Completeness on vintage lines
Original weapons, capes, helmets and accessories are frequently worth more than the figure. Vintage Star Wars and Masters of the Universe are especially sensitive to this. Check the bottom of the toy box before you write anything off.
Funko: we buy the $50-and-up ones
Most Pops are worth a few dollars and always will be, so a Funko-only collection is one we will normally pass on. Where Funko is all you have, we are currently buying individual figures with a market value of $50 or more — grails, vaulted lines, chases, convention exclusives and low-numbered early releases. Pops of any value are still fine as part of a wider collection we are buying.
Sun and damp are the enemies
Faded cardbacks, yellowed plastic and musty boxes all cut value sharply. If a collection has been in a garage or attic, that is fine and very common — just let us see honest photos rather than the best angle.

- We research and make an offer. We check recent sold prices, not guide values, and come back with a specific number and the reasoning behind it.
- You get paid. Accept and we arrange pickup or shipping, and pay on collection. No fees, no consignment wait.

Questions about selling sealed toys & figures
Do you buy Funko Pop collections?
Selectively. Where Funko is all someone has, Chrono Collectibles is currently buying individual figures with a market value of $50 or more — grails, vaulted lines, chases, convention exclusives and low-numbered early releases. Most Pops are worth a few dollars and always will be, so a shelf of common figures is not something we are buying on its own. Pops of any value are welcome as part of a wider collection we are already buying.
Are loose action figures worth selling?
Often yes, especially vintage lines from the 1980s. A loose Kenner Star Wars or vintage Transformers figure with its original accessories can carry real value, and Chrono Collectibles buys loose vintage toys as well as sealed ones. Send photos and we will tell you which ones in your lot are the ones that matter.
Do my toys need to be sealed or boxed?
No. Sealed and boxed toys are what Chrono Collectibles is most interested in, because packaging is often most of the value, but there is no sealed-only rule here. Worthwhile loose vintage toys are bought regularly. What we are selective about is common modern figures and low-value Funko Pops with nothing else alongside them.
