MAIL-IN BUYING

Not local? Ship it to us

Chrono Collectibles buys collections by mail from anywhere in the United States. You get a firm offer before anything is packed, shipping is covered on larger lots, and you are paid as soon as it arrives and checks out.

HOW MAIL-IN WORKS

Four steps, and you know the price before step three

The order matters. Nobody should ship a collection into the dark and hope for a fair number at the other end.

01

Send photos first

Nothing gets packed until we have agreed on a number. Photograph the shelves, the spines, the boxes — whatever shows what you have. Close-ups only where condition matters.

02

We research and quote

We check recent sold prices for what you have and come back with a specific offer and the reasoning. Free, no obligation, usually within a day or two.

03

Pack and ship

Accept the offer and we send packing guidance, plus a prepaid label if the collection qualifies. You drop it off; we track it from our end.

04

We check it and pay

We confirm arrival, verify everything matches the photos, and pay by PayPal, Zelle or bank transfer the same or next business day.

Why trust us with a box in the mail?

It is a fair question, and the honest answer is that you should check before you ship. Chrono Collectibles has sold 20,000+ items on eBay at 99.9% positive feedback since 2022, and that record is public — anyone can read every review left for us. We are a registered Florida LLC with two staffed locations and a phone number that a person answers.

We also put the price in writing before anything moves. If the collection arrives and it does not match what was described, you get it back at our expense rather than a take-it-or-leave-it revised offer.

What ships well

  • Cards and comics — light, dense and cheap to ship. Often the best value per box of anything we buy.
  • Loose games and cartridges — durable, compact, and easy to pack safely.
  • Graded slabs — already protected, and we can usually quote from cert numbers before you even photograph them.
  • Smaller figures and Funko — fine to ship if the boxes are protected, though box condition is most of the value.

What is usually better as a local pickup

  • Consoles and CRT televisions — heavy, fragile, and expensive to ship well.
  • Arcade cabinets and large signage — freight only, and worth a conversation first.
  • Very large collections — if it is more than a few boxes, we will often just come to you.
  • Statues and resin — shippable, but the packing needs care and we would rather advise first.

If you are within reach of Maryland or Florida, see where we do local pickup — it is usually simpler for both of us.

Mail-in questions

Can I sell my collection if I don't live near you?

Yes. Chrono Collectibles buys by mail from anywhere in the United States. You send photos first and we agree a price before anything is packed, so nothing ships until you know what you are getting paid. Most of what we buy from outside Maryland and Florida arrives this way.

Who pays for shipping?

Chrono Collectibles covers shipping on collections above a certain size — we will tell you whether yours qualifies when we make the offer, and send a prepaid label if it does. For smaller lots we usually agree a price that accounts for shipping either way, so you are never out of pocket unexpectedly.

What if the collection isn't what the photos showed?

We inspect on arrival and contact you if anything differs materially from what was described — usually undisclosed damage or missing items. You then choose: accept a revised offer, or have everything shipped back at our cost. We do not hold anyone's collection hostage over a disagreement.

How quickly do you pay?

Same day or next business day after the collection arrives and is checked. Chrono Collectibles pays by PayPal, Zelle or bank transfer for mail-in purchases, whichever you prefer. You will get a message confirming arrival before payment goes out.

How should I pack a collection for shipping?

Use a sturdy double-walled box, wrap fragile items individually, and fill every void so nothing shifts. Comics and cards should be bagged and boarded or in a rigid box. We will send specific guidance for your items when we agree the offer, and we would rather you ask than guess.
