HAULS

Collections we bought

Every week we buy somebody's collection. These are the ones worth writing up — what was in the boxes, what it was really like, and the parts that turned out to be worth nothing. Photographs are ours, taken the day we picked it up.

Why we publish these

Selling a collection means handing it to a stranger who tells you what it is worth. The only honest way to earn that is to show our working — what we bought, what we paid attention to, and what we got wrong.

So these are written from the actual records: the lots are in our system with every item in them, and the write-up is a view of that rather than a story told afterwards. If an item is listed here it is because we own it, not because it makes a better sentence.

Got a collection like these?

Send us a few photos and the details. We'll research fair market value and come back with a clear, no-pressure offer — and we'll tell you the disappointing parts too.
